Resides in Freixadas, District of Guarda, Portugal.

Licentiate Degree in Plastic Arts – Sculpture, Escola Universitária das Artes de Coimbra (The University School of Arts Coimbra), on July 12, 2004.

Participated in the collective Exhibition of Sculpture and Painting in an exchange ARC –E.U.A.C. and Escola de Belas Artes de Salamanca (The School of Fine Arts Salamanca), Coimbra, 2002.

Collective Exhibition “Fazer Artistico”, at Centro de Artes e Espectáculo (The Centre of Arts and Shows), Figueira da Foz, 2003.

Participated in the Biennial of V. Nova de Cerveira – Atelier de Resinas (Resins Atelier), 2003.

Participated in the 1st Symposium of Granite in Pinhel in 2003 at the company Granitos e Mármores Marujo, Lda.

Collective Exhibition of Plastic Arts, at the Pavilion of Portugal, Coimbra, 2004.


Began professional traineeship at the company Granitos e Mármores Marujo, Lda., on December 2, 2004 with the traineeship conclusion on August 31, 2005.

Honourable Mention – Concurso Nacional de Escultura (National Competition of Sculpture) - Parque das Nações in 2005.

Currently doing Master’s Degree in Aesthetic Communication at the University School of Arts Coimbra; having begun it in 2006.

Collective Exhibition with students from the Master’s in Aesthetic Communication at Casa Museu Bissaya Barreto (museum) and Galeria Joaquina Barreto Rosa (gallery), Coimbra, 2006.

Participated in “Arte na Calçada” (pavement art) in the streets of Loulé, promoted by the Town Council of Loulé, having begun in 2006 and ongoing until 2007.

Culture, Cooperation and Development course in Guarda carried out by the Services of Extraordinary Courses and Continuous Training by the University of Salamanca – 35 hours, granting 3.5 credits, 2006.

Participated in the Colloquy “A Programação Cultural Hoje” (Cultural Programming Today), promoted by Direcção Regional da Cultura do Centro (Regional Administration of Culture for the Central Region) and Centro de Estudos Ibericos (Iberian Studies Centre), Guarda, 2006.

Participated in Stone Sculpture Symposium “Vilnoja 2007” Lithuania, from the 1st of May until the 30th of June 2007.
