Held 40 solo exhibitions, participated in over 70 group exhibitions. His works have been acquired by collectors from the United Kingdom, USA, Japan, Italy, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland. Works as a freelance artist in various fields of art – painting, graphics, installation, fashion.
One of the most original artists in Northern Lithuania, Paulius Arlauskas has been painting portraits and intricate openwork images of phantasmagorical creatures for many years. Over a decade ago, this artist gained fame as an original musician, performer and composer, lyricist, and initiator of musical actions. These qualities intertwined with his profession as an artist acquired at Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute. As he was constantly at the center of artistic ideas both as a creator and an executor, his biography is adorned with a colorful list of international, national, and Šiauliai city artistic projects, concerts, video art events, various exhibitions, and provocative street art actions. On the other hand, this artist is known for constantly migrating between elite, experimental, bohemian, mass, and popular art territories. Through his actions and ideas, he often provokes the emergence of new, unexpected forms and concepts of art. It is rare for Paulius Arlauskas to participate in only one exhibition at a time. On the same day, he might paint glowing ornaments on a model’s body, appear on a TV show, and open his exhibition in a gallery. It is clear that this artist has undoubtedly found his individual, unique world of line, color, and form.
