Mikolaitis Gintaras

Born on September 18, 1963 in Vilnius.

In 1978-1982 he studied at Kaunas Secondary Vocational Technical Art School. He obtained the specialty of woodcarver.

In 1986-1992 he studied sculpture at the State Art Institute (now Vilnius Academy of Arts).

In 1992. The first personal exhibition of small sculptures “Signs” at the Pamenkalnis Salon.

In 1993. Participant in the exhibition of students of the artist-teacher Vytautas Pečiukonis.

In 1994. Participant in the bronze casting symposium “Bronze Age”.

In 2004. Participant in the competition for the creation of the Vincas Kudirka monument.

In 2006. Personal exhibition of drawings “Immersion” in the studio-gallery D’arijus jewelry.

2007. Participant of the competition for the creation of the monument to Kazys Būga.

2008. Participant of the competition for the creation of a sculptural-artistic accent in the territory near Konstitucijos prospectus and Kalvarijų g., Vilnius city.

2008. Participant of the competition for the creation of a sculptural-artistic accent in the square near the intersection of A.Mickevičius and Vytautas g., Vilnius city.first prize.
