
Obcarskas Antanas
Antanas Obcarskas was born on 27 May 1958 in Zapyškis. In 1971-73 he studied at Kaunas four-year children’s art school. In 1973-77 he studied at Kaunas S. Žukas Applied Arts Technical School (now Kaunas College J. Vienožinskis Faculty of Arts), in 1977-82 – at Vilnius State Art Institute (now Vilnius Academy of Arts). He has been participating in exhibitions since 1982. Since 1990 – a member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Union. Since 1993 – a member of the artists’ group “Agis”. Since 2011 a member of the German Artists’ Union “Focus Europa”. He works in the field of painting and contemporary art.
