Povilaitis Vytautas

Born on 24 March 1927 in Jiezne, Prienai district. In 1944-1950 he studied at the Kaunas State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, obtaining a degree in monumental art. He has been participating in art exhibitions since 1954. Since 1957 he has been a member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Union. He has participated in exhibitions since 1953. He died on 17 May 2009.
