Satkus Albertas
A painter who worked in high school for a long time, now devoted only to his work. He graduated from the then Art Institute, now called the Vilnius Academy of Arts. The work of this extraordinary man is of an extremely wide and diverse genre, which is revealed by the subject matter of his paintings: one can also find early modern abstract works, but there are also meditative transcendental paintings that encourage relaxation from everyday routine, concentration and meditation. Everyone will find his work close to and enjoyable for themselves. For a long time, Albert’s work was visible only to a small circle of people, but now everyone has the opportunity to see and purchase his paintings.
Painting for Albert is another, exclusive type of deep meditation. Paintings are born from inspiration, which cannot be ignored and all that remains is to transfer it to the canvas. As in meditation, so in painting, Albert strives for perfection: to express with color not only material, but also spiritual things, hidden inner thoughts. Of course, a person is not immediately able to see and understand them, but Albert believes that it is his calling, to bring a person closer to spirituality through his painting from the daily routine and the material world, to remind him of the importance of non-material things. A blank canvas is like a sanctuary for him, so paintings are painted with special dedication and with all his heart.
Albert accepts only interesting orders, in which he could improve himself and, at the same time, please the customer. However, it is important to mention the painting principles that Albert follows: although it is always possible to agree and discuss with the customer, the painting must be bright in its meaning, not have negativity, but carry goodness and beauty in colors and thoughts. This is his attitude to life: you need to look at everything positively, enjoy everything and always, enjoy nature or interesting literature.
