Stankevičius’ poems, with their complex thought patterns and sharp visual strokes, and innovative instrumentation, a lonely individual emerges in the endless flow of mysterious existence, calling out to God. “Why does Rimvydas “fall out” of the context of his generation? He boldly shows that he rejects all “isms”, choosing the path taken by others – classical poetry, classical, already tested plots, familiar figures, biblical motifs, Christian tradition. A young person turns to the world of contemplation, to the world with God – this is the core of Rimvydas” (Eurika Drungytė).
