Born 17 January 1942, Utena district, Jaureliai village.
Since 1983 – member of the Samogitian branch of the Lithuanian Folk Artists’ Union.
Participates in exhibitions since 1982. Has organized 7 author’s exhibitions. Has exhibited her works at 27 folk art exhibitions. The distinctive feature of S. Vilkienė’s paper cutters is a vibrating line.
