Ruseckas Virgis

Virgis Ruseckas’ expressionist painting language is bright, has a clear motif, and is memorable. Likes to make old objects, animals, or transform the lines of a human figure speak, the author often experiments with the textures of canvas surfaces and combinations of pure colors. The characteristic pulsating red line combines different details, as if drawing a line between real and otherworldly reality. The painted objects acquire a magical mood, marked by dramatic or humorous notes.
